Elise is in 3rd grade. She's been dying to come and help me in my class. Today posed the perfect opportunity. She had no school, I had a half day. Win! She's been such a helper. I wish she could help me everyday.

i have this student.
she spent the greater part of the afternoon with her bookmark pressed up against her ear and her shoulder pushed up to keep it there---a bookmark phone!
as she was working she kept it there like that and giggled and had a fake little conversation. she even told the person next to her to be quiet cause she's on the phone.
"i know it's like..."
"ya, hang on"

it really was too awesome to have her stop.

do you remember acting like your mom on the phone? it felt so busy and important.

These girls throw down. Our 2nd annual Friendsgiving was a success. I wish you could see the spread. Artisan bread + jam! Rainbow jello! Broccoli salad! Green salad! Green beans + carrots! Asparagus! Mashed cheese potatoes! Turkey! Cranberry sauce! Pumpkin roll! Cookies! Glass bottled drinks! Can you believe all these girls are in my ward too! How lucky am I?

Missy's shower was yesterday and Jane Moore did a bang-up job.
We love Missy soon-to-be Fox and we celebrated in no-duh Fantastic Mr. Fox theme.
Crock pot oatmeal with all the toppings you could dream of. I wish I had a picture of it.
I made Pumpkin Pie in a jar for the favors. Seen on inchmark.

First off, the word 'stew' is not my favorite. In fact, I'd rather not use it or hear it.

Second off, it definitely was easy and tasty too!

Third off, it makes a ton and winningly is excellent as a leftover.
