HOOK

On Monday night we celebrated Preston's bday with a Hook Bash. Dress up is the name of the game and we took full advantage of getting our Hook on. What a great way to start off the week. Hook and gang
Lindsey and Jane as Tiger Lily
Shauna as Michael
Some Lost Boys and Pirates
Rexburgs coolest couple. You should have seen the cake up close. It was frosted like the food fight stuff that they had in Hook when they had to teach Peter how to imagine.

Camp OUT

They look uncomfortable but they really are having fun.
Best Sweatshirt award
The two camping essentials: Mountain Dew and T.P.

The boys had some fireworks and we put on quite the show. It was mayhem.
Fireworks mastermind.
The Camping Crew
Friday night we went camping and it was amazing. The weather was perfect. It felt so good to get into some of the nature Idaho has to offer. We shot off fireworks, roasted some mallows, had some campfire chats, and woke up to have the best pancakes and eggs ever. I think we'll go again next week.

Halfsies

I did it!!!! The long awaited day arrived! The Teton Dam Marathon has been looming over my head since we signed up for it back in April. I had doubts at times that I'd be able to pull off running 13 miles...but I did it!!! Saturday June 14th arrived and the weather was perfect. We ate a sturdy breakfast of oatmeal and a banana and heading off to the starting line. I ran the entire thing and finished in 2:09. My girlfriends and I finished within minutes of each other and then we milked the marathon for all it's worth by eating all the watermelon, bananas, oranges, jamba juice, and great harvest bread I could down. We also waited in a long line for a massage that was well worth it. I HAVE to do a half marathon again. I'm hooked.

Sit yourself down

One of our favorite birthday gifts this year was from our favorite Rexburg married couple Dave and Jessica. They spoiled us with a yellow/gold/green crushed velvet chair. Boy were we suprised. I instantly tried it for size and it's a fit. Definately one of the comfiest chairs I've ever sat in. We started snapping shots of friends in our chair. Here are a few samples. Don't you wish you could sit yourself down?

One year older

I turned 23 yesterday. TWENTY-THREE!! Wow! I had a good run at 22 and I'm ready for the adventures and excitement of my 23rd year at life. Yesterday I woke up to breakfast in bed from my sweet roommates and spent a nice (not so sunny) day with friends and later dinner and rockband. Today we had a dessert party at our place and Kristine and I made these icecream cupcakes. They were a hit. What a great day.
