After Egan's drool worthy post about Pointer shoes my mom and I went on a mission to find them. My mom was crushing on these. And I, these. Our first stop brought us to Lambs Ear
shoe boutique in Fremont. They didn't have Pointer's, but they did have $300+ shoes that were so glorious I think my heart stopped once or twice. We then went downtown and hit Totokaelo. Sweet mercy people, i die. A.P.C., Rachel Comey, Y's by Yohji Yamamoto, Slow and Steady Wins The Race. I wanted to just pet, stroke, obsess over every piece. Some boutiques that I go in are frankly gross: over priced for lame clothes that only the House Wives of Orange County would fall for. But this, this is utter beauty and perfectly executed. I wish you could have seen it. Egan and Kristine- we'll have to take you to see this place over Thanksgiving. Really though, how in my life can I have enough self-control to save my pennies for pieces like this, or these, or this?
