This is our 3rd year of friendsgiving in Salt Lake City!
Seare's hosted us and it was ideal.

To Note:
-Tess's Jello- a favorite of friendsgiving, wasn't too friendly with the bundt pan and took a spill. still delicious.
-appetizers are always a good idea

Menu:
rotisserie chicken
roasted sweet potatoes/red potatoes/green peppers/onions
artisan bread + jam
citrus/avocado/pomegranate/pear salad
rainbow jello
asparagus
a pretty cake from Whole Foods

Kitchen Magic-eight

We decided on going to our happy place for dinner instead of cooking.
Whole Foods in Trolley Square is full glory.
We each got whatever we wanted, talked about boys, and food, then wandered the store.
Aren't they pretty cooking friends?!

Halloween 2011

costumes to note: dorthy, ballerina, twiggy, boy dorthy, wonder women, school girl, cramer, jem, gyspy, ninja, mr. rogers, and christian (it was his birthday, we won't judge him for not dressing up)

Parties started Friday night and went straight through Monday. Which means, when the actual day of Halloween arrived most YSA's* were a little spent.
I think my favorite costumes were the one's that were last minute inspirations.
Why is picking a Halloween costume the hardest?
I settled on G.I. Jane, which may seem like a given/fall back costume for me. But I'm a first timer for it.
Let's play dress-up more often.
