I don't know what's gotten into me. I've been making cookies like it's a way of life.
Problem is...they've gotten progressively unhealthy.

Wasatch Back
Last week I experienced the Ragnar. It was my first time doing the race and I loved it so hard.
24 of us signed up to do it, so we had 2 teams of friends which means 4 vans.
I ran leg 6 and I loved my runs. The first one was a steep downhill run in the mid-afternoon about 8 miles, my second was at 11pm and was a gradual incline for another 8 miles, my last was a little baby easy run, really flat and about 3 miles. Our team clocked in around 26 hours. The miracle/awesome part was that both team's final runners finished together. Pretty perfect.
I couldn't believe how fun Ragnar actually was. Hilarious, focused, hard, sore, sweaty, sleepless, and let's do it again.

i went disposable again
When I scored my Dad's Konica and bag of film I also got another (probably expired) disposable! I slid it in my purse and pulled it out as occasion permitted. I love getting disposable film developed. It's such a surprise and I forgot what I had taken. This covers quite a few events...top to bottom: me on my birthday (gross burnt chest and all), backyard smores with boys, fro yo run after a Bee's game, St. George for Memorial day weekend, karaoke bar, photos with Willard, staycation with my favorite people.

Bells
Every Tuesday we go on a hike with our ward. Last night we hit Bells Canyon. It was my favorite hike yet and this is the second year of our weekly hikes. It was so beautiful. I kept kicking myself for not bringing my camera. Never again.
On the way back down we saw 2 moose within 15 feet. I was equal parts excited/awestruck/nervous. We also saw the storm moving in and it looked like the clouds were in fast forward they were moving so fast. Nature is amazing and I needed to stop to take it in. Remarkable colors, pure sounds, and clean air.
I can't wait to do Bells Canyon again! This time with camera in tow.
this image is from a hike a few weeks ago at Desolation Trail. Hi Maggie!

konica
bringing the sunshine in
no sun this weekend, only storms.
it was a total bust and i really needed a day outside.
I made strawberry, apricot, chia muffins this morning.
slam.
And I made a bowl of tropical oatmeal.
dunk.
It has pineapple juice, almond milk, water, oats, egg white, crushed pineapple, banana, and unsweetened coconut. Really the burst of sunshine that I needed. Thanks breakfast.
