My sister introduced me to this book before Christmas. I thought it was hilarious, genius, and witty. It's a journey through the alpahbet that shows a child and a horrible death.
I'm totally offended. J/K I think its awesome. I think maybe I've seen something similar on a shelf somewhere. Next time I'm in Barnes I'll check it out. It reminds me of the catastrophe calendar in the movie The Science of Sleep.

Jane, this is your cousin (favorite, I might add), Anthony. To be honest, I've never even heard of this book, but I wanted to write on your most recent entry that i posted under your Enchanted section. I am totally new at blogging, so just wanted to make sure you got my shout out. I'm diggin your blog, and kristine's too. You guys are much cooler than I ever will be, let me tell ya that much right now!
just be careful who you share this book with. I gave it to someone with a chronic disease and they wondered if I had some agenda. Nope, just me being stupid. But I totally love the humor!
ooh, ooh. I love Edward Gorey, and this is one of my favorites of his. So gothic and victorian, but he actually drew it in the 60's I think, which makes it even more interesting. Fun to see you in blogland!
