Woke up early for a trail run up Millcreek Canyon.
Breakfast at our house with all our trail running friends was pancakes and fixings.
Spent the afternoon at Steiners for some pool time.
That night we BBQed at a friend's house and then walked over to Sugarhouse for the firework show. Another friend's house for a street show with Courtney's fireworks.
Midnight corn hole matches before we went home.
So nice to have Teen and Lindsay in town for the holiday weekend.

Easter was at home with my parents this year. We dyed eggs together, they hid a basket for me, and bunny rolls for Easter dinner. Being an adult ain't so bad. Thanks to my parents for still indulging me.

My dad gave all the grand kids secret treasure books for Christmas. He had made them out of my aunt Carla's old books. Inside were old stamps, coins, and pins. The kids loved it (every dream coming true right?) and I was left wondering "where's mine?"

We picnicked our Thanksgiving at a park near my sister's house. I loved the food, non traditional at it's best. Eating in fresh afternoon air was so nice too. We kept the kids busy with a feather headdress craft before dinner and a scavenger hunt after. It's was nice to let the kids run free and not have much cleanup. The paninis, soup, and salads were amazing. Oh the appetizers too. Boy! My mom does it up right. Same with my sisters and some of our extended family that joined us. All credit goes to them for a great holiday and hopefully new tradition.
